ScaleUP! Kansas City Accepts Rising Construction Into 11th Cohort
Here at Rising Construction Services, we are absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news with you all! Recently, the ScaleUP! Kansas City program, which is now in its sixth year, has announced its 11th cohort of 20 different local companies who will get the coaching, perspective and connections to scale, create new jobs, open new locations, develop resiliency for the future and strengthen the regional economy!
This cohort, as with the businesses in the previous 10 ScaleUP! cohorts, is made up of new, up and coming businesses run by entrepreneurs leading many different small businesses across the Kansas City area. The businesses chosen for this cohort represent a selection of many diverse industries, including marketing, fitness, construction, security, tech, sanitation, insurance, education and more.
Participation in this 11th cohort for ScaleUP! KC is offered at no cost to these many small businesses, due to ongoing support from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and the U.S. Small Business Administration. We simply couldn’t be more excited as a team here at Rising Construction to have been given the opportunity to participate this year!
What IS this cohort?
“Year after year, ScaleUP! Kansas City transforms the top-tier business owners who complete the program: It refocuses their perspective from working in their business to working on their business,” says Jill Hathaway, program director of ScaleUP! KC. “This intensive program has had a profound impact on the small businesses it serves during the 16 weeks and long after the course ends. The tools, coaching and connections help them navigate unexpected twists and turns with confidence and a clear plan.”
Nearly 175 different business owners in the Kansas City area have participated in this selective program, and we are beyond ecstatic to be one of those businesses this year! This program at ScaleUP! KC is aimed to help small businesses like ours to create the processes, strategies and long-term plans to grow and scale our businesses! It’s surely a program that will help us transform and grow as a business in this new year.
